IFU - The Danish Investment Fund opens investment support in Ukraine
13.10.2011

In September 2011, IFU, the Danish state owned
investment fund, aimed to support Danish businesses in emerging markets,
confirmed that projects in Ukraine are eligible to be considered for IFU
financing, subject to fulfilling specific selection criteria.

Thereby IFU has taken over and continued providing support and financing to
Danish businesses in Ukraine, which previously was done by IØ (The
Investment Fund for Central and Eastern Europe), who made investments in
Ukraine in 1999-2010.

IFU can offer both advice and financing to Danish companies wanting to set
up business in Ukraine. IFU's investments are made on commercial terms in
the form of share capital and loans and are made directly in a company
established in the host country.

As an investor IFU is prepared to share the financial risk with a Danish
company, and normally IFU is involved from the first step through the
establishment and set-up of the company until it is fully consolidated.
Often IFU is also represented on the board of the company.

Companies interested in learning more about IFU's financing in Ukraine are
welcome to contact Natalia Svejgaard, Senior Investment Officer, by e-mail
