DBA Events

DBA arranged several successful study/investor trips to Mykolaiv in 2025 where the participating companies had a successful outcome collaborating with companies in Mykolaiv. We have several interests from Danish companies to do another trip for companies to match up with Ukrainian companies and state entities that need Danish products and partnerships.

Denmark has taken the initiative to help Ukraine to rebuild Mykolaiv in the southern Ukraine and in this connection, DBA would like your company to join us in this Investor trip to extend your company’s supply chain/sales channels and get possible sub-contracting possibilities. When Danish companies are doing business in Mykolaiv the local businesses are essential to collaborate with in order to get the job done.

The Danish Embassy in Ukraine supports this initiative and will be travelling there with this delegation to highlight several business cases and the work done by Denmark. Embassy Office in Mykolaiv who will introduce the delegation to local businesses and authorities in Mykolaiv and facilitate potential follow-up communication with these.

We intend to visit company sites matching the DBA companies’ industry to make the trip the most efficient for the participating companies. When we know the participating companies, we make a more detailed plan to meet with matching companies of your business.

Travelling to Mykolaiv is generally considered safe as long as appropriate security measures are taken and the visitor understands how to act in a country at war. As in any other city in Ukraine, the local authorities will require visitors to submit ID ahead of the visit in order to give access to the Governor’s and Mayor’s office as well as to sites with critical infrastructure. The Embassy Office will make sure that these practicalities are in order.

The event price includes 1 night hotel stay, all meals on both days when arriving to Mykolaiv, all meetings arranged and transfers within Mykolaiv.

Some companies are taking extra security and are working with our DBA member company Bright Bird https://www.brightbird.com/ who can provide you with several security solutions and personal insurance in a war country.
